Welcome to Nepal! Our team will meet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can rest or take a short walk around the Thamel area. Evening briefing about the tour.
Full-day guided tour of Kathmandu's most important Buddhist and Hindu sites:
Morning visit to Patan Durbar Square, known for its stunning Newari architecture and ancient temples. Afternoon drive to Namobuddha, one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal, set on a beautiful hilltop surrounded by forests. Return to Kathmandu in the evening.
Short morning flight to Bhairahawa (or Gautam Buddha Airport). Drive approximately 30 minutes to Lumbini. Check into your hotel and visit the Sacred Garden in the evening as the sun sets—a peaceful time for reflection.
Spend the day exploring the birthplace of Buddha:
Full-day excursion to Tilaurakot, the ancient palace where Prince Siddhartha lived for 29 years before leaving to seek enlightenment. Explore:
Return to Lumbini for the night.
Morning flight back to Kathmandu. Afternoon visit to Pharping, a sacred site located just outside the city. This is where Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) meditated in the famous Asura Cave and reached enlightenment. Evening farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant.
