Rajan, who has more than 14 years of experience in the tourism industry, was born in a small, remote village in the Nuwakot district. He completed his primary education there before earning a bachelor’s degree in management from Nuwakot Adarsh Campus.
A seasoned trekking guide, Rajan has led expeditions across nearly all of Nepal’s renowned regions, including the Everest, Manaslu, Langtang, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Dolpo, and Api Saipal areas. He began his career as a porter and methodically worked his way up through various roles—from an assistant guide to a senior guide—and now, he proudly serves as the tour operator for RP Treks & Expedition.
Rajan’s extensive experience in the Himalayas has equipped him with profound expertise and a reputation as a professional, friendly, and helpful guide, making him a cherished figure among travelers and his peers in the industry.
