RP adventures is a company that makes sure you are save, considered and taken care off.
Our journey began long before I reached Kathmandu. Rajan the leader and guide of this trip and I had contact to discuss my needs. My father having a knee issue made it important to find a trek that was suitable. Rajan knew exactly how to approach this and thought carefully about our options. Giving the pros and cons of each trek. After which a clean and neat pdf was provided with all details of the trip that allowed us to go back to it whenever we needed.
We settled on Langtang valley. A beautiful trek thats steep at the start but afterwards is slow and steady up to 3850 meters.
Rajan picked is up from the airport to make sure we got to our hotel quickly and efficiently. Next day we met up in Thamil to shop for the remainder of our items that were missing for our journey ensuring we got fair prices and thinking carefully about the conditions above 3000 meters.
Once we left he arranged a 4×4 jeep making our 10 hour bus journey into a 7h jeep ride significantly easier and save. Unlike most trekkers who start at Syapru Besi, Rajan arranged we stay the night at Khangjim. A small town 200 meters higher saving my dad a steep climb up and starting the trek harder then needed.
And its exactly all these actions of Rajan that set him apart. He considers every aspect of the trip before it even begins. Making sure all is well. We had 2 extra days in case on of us got sick. Dietary options were considered, duration of stay, potential health issues, budget, trekking requests, information and facts. All these things is what makes Rajan an entirely different type of guide.
One that goes above and beyond.
So , if you consider trekking the Himalayas , and want to support the local economy while making sure your trip is comfortable.
I recommend RP adventures above all else.
