OUTLINE ITINARARY
Day 01: Morning drive to Chitwan by 7 a.m. (181 km / 112 miles) -05 hrs.
Day 02: Full day Wildlife Safari and Jungle program activities.
Day 03: Morning nature walks and bird watching after breakfast drive to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Morning travel by private coach or in tourist bus, (depending upon the size of the group). An exciting drive on the main highway, leading through Himalayan foothills, to reach Tadi Bazaar at Chitwan. The drive diverts from the main road towards south at Saura Town, where all best hotels, resorts located. The town and Hotels, situated just outside the Chitwan National Park premises on arrival, brief by manager and naturalist. About the rules and information of the jungle programs, and then check into your rooms. After getting refreshed start afternoon activity with short walk to Tharu village, the indigenous tribe of Terai belt. Evening enjoy the dinner with fascinating Tharu cultural dance program.
In Chitwan program and nature activities begins early before breakfast, a short drive to elephant platform. Then ride on an elephant heading into dense jungle to witness wildlife in its natural habitat. Other activities include visit of elephant stables and elephant bathing and briefing. After lunch jungle drive or on a dug-out canoe floating downstream Rapti River, to observe Gangetic Gharial and Mugger crocodiles.
