Hike to Pikey Peak (4,065m) and Trek to Loding (3,820m) – 6-7 Hours

The exact hotel is selected based on availability and will be confirmed before your trip.

Mountain Tea House

During the Pikey Peak Trek, you will stay in comfortable local teahouses and lodges along the trail. Overnight stays are arranged in places such as Dhap, Jhapre, Pikey Base Camp, Loding, Junbesi, Taksindu, and Phaplu, providing a warm and convenient place to relax after each day of trekking. The teahouses offer simple but comfortable rooms, with basic amenities and a welcoming local atmosphere. As you trek through the quieter parts of the Solu region, accommodation remains modest and authentic, giving you an opportunity to experience traditional Himalayan hospitality. A 5-star hotel in Kathmandu is provided before and after the trek, while a sleeping bag and duffel bag are also provided for the trekking section.

The Pikey Peak Trek follows a variety of forest trails, stone-paved paths, dirt tracks, rocky sections, and open mountain ridges. Trekkers can expect several steep uphill and downhill sections, especially near Pikey Peak. The trail passes through beautiful rhododendron and pine forests, traditional Sherpa villages, alpine meadows, and scenic ridgelines. During the monsoon, some sections can become muddy and slippery, while snow and icy trails are possible in winter. There are no major technical climbing sections or difficult river crossings.
